Hello, it's me and this, people, is my blog and I am so glad you are taking the time out of your busy busy days to read it. I really hope that my blog and its posts have some sort of impact on you, it does not really have to be some sort of big huge impact on your life but by the end of the semester, I would like to maybe achieve the goal of you or at least someone that is reading this right now, just having and open mind at least in the slightest. Also, maybe the narrow minded people will become a little less narrow minded, I do not know, only you can really let yourself do that. I am just here to give you a little bit of facts and a little bit of information but mostly I am just here to start a dialogue, maybe give you a little bit of a new perspective on the subject and just make you think about it a little and break the stigma when it comes to those beautiful transgender souls. So yeah, in this blog I have chosen to write about the transgender community and he issues that come with it all. For example, I will be talking about the different Internet and celebrity personalities on YouTube and the media in general that I think are a good and a big representation of the huge courage that it takes to be a happy transgender person. Now you must be wondering (or maybe not,) WELL Nicole, why in the world did you choose this topic for your blog project thing, what could you possibly have to say, you don't know how any of that is like it's not like you're transgender, WELL, I know I am not transgender but I will tell you right now, I have read and seen too many transgender abuse and suicide stories, it's just simply ridiculous. I will also tell you that, wether I relate to them or not, it doesn't matter, that's irrelevant because I am just someone who cares passionately about people who deserve way more then what they actually do.

Hey Nicole! I find that this subject is a currently pertinent one. You are right: many deaths of transgender youth have been reported in the last couple of years. Some stories have particularly affected me emotionally. I am happy you are bringing light to this community of people. Keep writing!
ReplyDeleteHello there Mrs,Monarca, it sucks that many deaths of transgender youth have occurred lately. Do you think this will ever change going forward in the future? Do you think everyone will be understanding later on? I can't wait to read the rest of your blog keep up the good work!
